I then travelled through Thailand and completed my open water dive certificate, which led on to my advanced back to back. Next I flew to Singapore and on to The Philpines where I celebrated my friend Lauren's birthday. You can't beat home comforts when you've been on the road for so long.  Following on from the Phillipines, I travelled to Vietnam where I worked for 6 months at Hanoi Backpackers (Vietnam Backpackers). This was a ridiculous time in my life, I worked with some awesome peope and had the time of my life. However, there is only so much partying you can do without killing your liver. At this point I really didn't know where to head next...I eventually decided it wasn't time to go home and applied for my Australia Working Holiday Visa. I flew into Melbourne and quickly headed up to the warmer weather in Sydney! Some of my university friends were already living in Bondi, so I joined them. Here's a tip...to save money on rent share rooms with multiple people! Yes we had 6 of us in a 2 bed house haha. This was definitly one of the best experiences of my life. We have so much fun living there, working temporary jobs and enjoying the beach on our doorstep. However, a year goes by very quickly! Where to next?  Well I decided it would be rude not to see New Zealand as I was already in that part of the world. So I hopped on a plane and did the Kiwi Experience from Aukland to Queenstown. Definitely do this if you get the chance. It's such a beautful and varied country, partnered with the friendliest people. Moving on...I went back to South America to complete the continents amazing countries. Chile, Bolivia, Peru, Ecquador, Colombia. When I arrived home back after this trip I was unsure of what to do next. Going away for 2 years can leave you feeling a little lost when you finally return.  I took a job in financial recruitment and hated every second ha ha. I did manage to stay just over a year though.  I then went back into PR and Events and was much happier (it really is more importat to do something you love, trust me). After finally becoming more settled in my life back home and actually starting to relax into the understanding that this was it now, I wasn't going away again...my life took another turn! I was offered a job working as a Manager of a safari lodge in Zambia!!! Now this opportunity was too good to turn down. I packed my gear and headed over to join the team at Robin Pope Safaris. It was amazing. I have never seen animas in the wild so close! Elephants, hippos, Giraffe, Wild Dogs and the list goes on. Unfortunately I had to be air ambulanced to South Africa while I was (that's a story for another time) and I missed out on a month's work.  I came home in October 2017 and then in November 2017 I jetted off to Thailand for 5 months. I have just got home and once again I'm on the job hunt and optomistic about the future ahead. Where ever my path my take me.
