The Best Wellness Festivals To Visit This Summer

Best wellness festivals 2019

Over the last few years wellness festivals have seen a surge in popularity and there are more than ever on offer for 2019.

The health and wellness trend isn’t going away anytime soon. If anything, it is growing in momentum as we we get more clued up and invest in our mental and physical health.

If you need a break from the daily grind but don’t want to travel too far, I’ve got some great suggestions for wellness festivals near you.

Attending a festival a few years ago for me would have meant, stocking up on as much alcohol as possible, purchasing enough cigarettes to get me through the entire festival without having to buy over priced cigs from the only available vendor on site, eating junk food the entire 4 days and knowing that I will probably end up with a cold or some sort of disgusting illness in the days that follow due to lack of sleep and sleeping in a leaky wet tent…

But oh how this has changed.

Attending my first wellness festival last year was an eye opening experience and an absolute game changer. I left feeling refreshed, lighter on my feet, inspired and ready to take on a new challenge!

Are you ready to make the transition? I guarantee you will not regret it. If you’re still undecided whether a complete wellness festival is for you, a lot of the mainstream festivals have now added wellness activities to their lineup. Meaning you still get to see your favourite bands and get those well-being brownie points at the same time.

I’ve listed the top UK wellness festivals for this summer, giving you all the information you need to make the right choice.

1. SOUL CIRCUS

When: 16-19 August
Where: Elmore, The Cotswolds
Price: Day tickets start at £79. Find out more here.

I love, love, love Soul Circus Festival. Having attended last year, I can only imagine how good this year will be. The festival has a great vibe, holistic therapies, yoga, barre classes, dance classes (a favorite of mine), fantastic food and is small enough to get to know your lovely fellow campers. You can check out my review from last year here.

I hope to see you all there this year!

With five new music stages, two new arts venues, and five areas dedicated to well-being, it’s time to discover this year’s line-up.

For wellness, you’ll be spoiled for choice. They have facials, massage, yoga, a lakeside spa, 80s aerobics, wild fitness classes, paddle-board yoga, dare to dream workshop and more.
